Balaram J was born and brought up in Kerala, India. He pursued Animation Film Design at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. His feature film credits include Lijo Jose Pellissery's Jallikattu (2019) and Churuli (2021).
He enjoys telling compelling stories through all visual mediums. His films explore his political beliefs, philosophical ideas and fancies about life. He wishes to push the limits and discover the unexplored capacities of storytelling.
Currently, he is working as an Assistant Director and Pre-Production Artist in feature films and advertisements while developing stories for his next film making.
