Rajani Rao Santosh has almost 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Since August 2019, has been working full-time as an environmentalist in various roles. She is one of the co-founders of Extinction Rebellion, Bangalore Chapter which is an international movement working on advocacy for Climate Action. She is also a member of Growthwatch India, a citizen-led environmental advocacy organization with a focus on bringing the project impact to the notice of IFIs (ADB, AIIB, EIB etc).
She is also a co-founder of Living EArth Foundation (LEAF), an all-women’s organisation of activists and passionate environmental lawyers, that focuses on helping communities in their ever-increasing fights against threats to their lives and livelihoods.
