Shalini Divyanjalee an open-minded Sri Lankan citizen, who is specialized in Film and Television Production; armed with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and TV Studies from the University of Kelaniya.
Her debut film It’s Not a Tall Short Thing was nominated for the Best Film Award at the Colombo Women’s Film Festival (2020) and the Human Rights Prize at Agenda 14 Film Festival (2020). While an undergraduate at Kelaniya, she interned at Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation and did news translations (from English to Sinhala).
Moreover, during the weekends she worked as a secondary school teacher, and through this she developed additional management skills as well as social skills, this, in relation to working with children, so that she could help pupils achieve their full-potential.
