This film follows two young Van Gujjar boys whose lives are shaped by the same roots but diverge with time. One now lives in a government-designated buffer zone, where he has developed a passion for birding, finding new meaning and identity through observing the natural world. The other remains deep inside the forest, continuing his family’s centuries-old tradition of raising buffaloes, living in close rhythm with the land.
