Ramana

Ramana Dumpala, was born in 1990, worked in the regional Telugu film industry in India, as an associate writer for two feature films. After that he studied Editing and Direction at Film and Television Institute of India. As a student, he edited and directed several short films and documentaries.

The documentary which he directed, "GLOW WORM IN A JUNGLE" got nominated and won at several National and International film festivals, including 66th National Film Award of India.

Currently, he is writing two fiction feature length films, one of which he presented at the ‘Jump In’ Section for script and project development at the 42nd edition of Poitiers Film Festival-France.

His work as a writer and director is an extension of his life, it deals with real human experiences, and gives him a space to express his emotions as an individual and a part of the society. His life and art centres around the common people that surround him.
