Yashasvi Juyal

Yashasvi Juyal is a self-taught Independent Filmmaker & Screenwriter from Uttarakhand, India. His short documentary “A Wise Crab” was an official selection in JIO MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2015 and won the special jury award. 

His second documentary “Confident in Being Confused” won the Best Documentary Award in the Indian Cine Film Festival (2016) & Special Jury Award in the Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival (2016), Delhi. 

He later became the founder of his own film studio & organisation called “Silvercord Films” - mostly focussing on regional cinema of Uttarakhand and locally produced documentaries, experimental films, music videos, film workshops & art community gatherings.
